Slashdot Story Submission Exploit
It’s possible to cheat the Slashdot Story Submission page so you can obtain a conveted link from this “authority” site. However it just brings up the old rule…why would a viable, ethical business want to cheat to obtain a link that will just be removed once Slashdot tracks you down. Don’t be tempted by these hacks into someone else’s site if you want to keep and maintain good rankings.
Why didn’t we tell you how to exploit this site? Well duh…. Here’s a link for making a valid submission.
Windows Live is Now Really Live
Much like Microsoft’s software, the new Windows Live Search is out of beta before it should be, but it has some popular features that still make it worth using. Especially popular is the image search. Watch out for other gotchas however including spam pages showing up in the top of search results and clunky advanced features. I’d still recommend trying it out despite some short comings.
