Digg Now Serving up Microsoft Ads
Digg, a popular community-based popularity site, will be serving up Microsoft text and graphic ads on it’s site now. A blow to Google in bragging rights only, it’s not going to hurt Google’s bank account much. Yahoo! Search Assist – Better Searching Suggestions
You’ve probably seen this feature on Google. You type in a search and it starts to suggest searches for you. Now Yahoo! has improved on their earlier attempt (called Search Suggest) and has released Search Assist. This article has a preview of the feature and how you can use it to improve your search habits. This feature can also be helpful in creating a list of key phrases to target your web site to. Keep in mind that these are only suggestions from Yahoo! and it’s not the perfect tool for creating such a list….it’s just another place to obtain ideas.

Currently Google and Yahoo! support sitemaps and even allow you to ping them when it’s updated. Microsoft has no ping support to help push your content out faster (at least that’s the theory), but perhaps one day Microsoft will catch on.
