BlackBird Browser – What Next?

At the risk of having stones hurled at me, what are they thinking? Does the black community really need a special browser because they “need tools to build and foster community now more than ever”? Oh come on. Can anybody say AOL? Given the fact that search engines can already deliver this information far more reliably, without additional commercials and without donation requests constantly hurled at me is enough of a reason not to use this program. When will specialty groups be a part of the whole community called the human race instead of forming their own little separate communities?

And just what is news from the black perspective? Isn’t news just reporting the facts? Are one group’s facts different from anothers? I’ve never understood that. Ever listen to Christian radio news? I don’t understand that either. Same stories only with brainwashing commentary.

Add this one to a list of destined failures.

New Top Level Domain .tel

Get a page with your contact information ending in .tel. Built for use with mobile devices and great as a reference in social sites (so you don’t have to constantly update your separate profiles).

Owners of trademarks can apply today with general public access on February 3, 2009. It seems a bit pricey and those rushing in will pay more. A general sale at a reduced rate starts March 24, 2009.
