Being Too Connected?
Will the search world totally invade all of our activities? Imagine writing a document and having the software know all you’ve typed before and offering suggestions based on that information. Or having it search the Internet for similar documents and related information. Imagine a GPS phone that knows where you are, knows that you need to be somewhere at a certain time and instantly notifies the people you are meeting that you will be late.
Sound kind of scary? Perhaps, but maybe humans will be smart enough to use it wisely. I’ll believe that when I don’t see anyone driving while talking on their cell phone.
