If you log into a Google account for any of their services and you don’t log out, your searches at Google will change based on your history of searching. That’s right….log into any Google account and your searches are altered. Now this makes SEO work even more difficult. It’s enough fun to hit the moving target that is Google, it’s another to hit any number of personalized targets.

If you see your search results changing dramatically, check to see if you are logged into a Google acount. Look for options on the search screen to turn off personalization if it gets in the way.
