Intuit, maker of QuickBooks, and Google, maker of the Google Desktop Search, are integrating their products. Now I really don’t want another ad in Quickbooks. There are enough already. (Aren’t programs containing advertisements usually free?) What I really don’t like is a new Google Desktop Search that lets people search accounting data. Sounds like an area for people to be able to hack into data they should be viewing.

All in all, it’s a great move for Intuit as well as Google. Read more on their press release.
