Yahoo! Site Explorer – Not Recommended

Author: In the “why are they doing this” category is the Yahoo! badge. This displays a count of inbound links to your site. What is wrong with this you ask? It’s not about quantity, but quality. I’d rather have one good link from an authority like Miscrosoft than one link from Bob the auto mechanic. Number of links is garbage information and only for the vain. Want to tell everyone that you are unprofessional and have self-esteem issues….put this on your site right next to your Alexa tag and your number of hits counter.
